As women of color, we are often burdened with upholding our societies and families’ expectations and dreams for us that we never get to live for ourselves. In July 2019, we unveiled the Authenticity over Approval Campaign which seeks to empower women of color to boldly and unapologetically choose to live a life of authenticity despite societal and family expectations.
