Our Story

In February 2017, while working for a local non-profit, bold young professionals, Dilim Dieke and Dipabali Chowdhury started to have conversations about being a woman of color in the workplace.

Throughout their professional journey, they have noticed that it has been extremely difficult for many women of color to speak up, advocate for themselves, and be their authentic selves at work.

They have experienced limited growth opportunities and were overlooked for promotions even though being labeled as high performers. Dilim and Dipabali knew something was wrong and decided this needed to change.

Thus The LIT Network was born!
